Do you want to be part of a business that really believes in its people? If so, read on to find out more about apprenticeships at Geoffrey Robinson …

At Geoffrey Robinson we are constantly investing in our people.

Our focus on individual learning and development through training and apprenticeship programmes has resulted in a well-balanced, skilled workforce of more than 280 people.

As a family business, we appreciate the loyalty, skill and enthusiasm that our team demonstrates, and so we offer an environment where everyone can thrive and achieve their potential.

The Geoffrey Robinson Academy

With our multi-award-winning apprenticeship scheme, an apprenticeship at Geoffrey Robinson is more than just the first step on the ladder; it reflects everything that our family business represents.

Since the scheme began in 1971, the contribution that apprentices have made to our business has been invaluable, and continues to be to this day.

To further strengthen our offer to apprentices, we set up The Geoffrey Robinson Academy.

The academy ensures that apprentices are supported at every stage of their journey, ensuring that we’re building and inspiring the next generation of built environment professionals. Academy mentors provide support, practical experience and site familiarisation.

Designed for anyone with a passion to work in the construction industry, we provide apprenticeships through the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) and JTL Training.

Three routes are available:

Technical Apprenticeship

An apprenticeship that progresses to a Foundation degree.

Craft Apprenticeship

Progressing to NVQ Level 3 in Building Engineering Services Association.

Electrical Apprenticeship

An apprenticeship that progresses to NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

All of the courses combine traditional work-based learning alongside on-the-job training with our experienced teams.
