South Tyneside Hospital, Endoscopy Department

Having extensive experience working within live hospital environments, Geoffrey Robinson engaged the South
Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust regarding a design and build project within the South Tyneside hospital’s Endoscopy Department.

Acquired via a competitive tendering process, requirements outlined a fast-tracked refurbishment
of the department and additional build items, including waiting rooms, wards, employee spaces, and an extension.

From project outset, we undertook stringent communication plan development, facilitating early engagement between our design, operational, and management teams, and ensuring optimal understanding of Trust requirements, objectives, and standards.

Our early involvement facilitated design of a best value project
within their original budget.
